FCV Components
The proton exchange membrane (PEM) is often referred to as the “kidney” of hydrogen fuel cells. It efficiently adsorbs anions and cations from the coolant, preventing system short circuits and maintaining the fuel cell’s power-generation efficiency. Moreover, it boasts advantages such as low flow resistance, large exchange capacity, and high exchange rate, making it suitable for a wide range of fuel cell models and providing reliable protection for the fuel cell stack.
The cathode air intake system for the Peace hydrogen fuel cell vehicle acts as an “air purifier” for the fuel cell stack. It efficiently captures particulate impurities and strongly adsorbs harmful gases such as SO₂ and NOx, thereby reducing power degradation in the fuel cell stack and ensuring it maintains high-efficiency power generation over the long term.
